The 1st Tuesday of August, each year, is Celebrated as Giving Crime a Going Away Party nationwide.  Tuesday, August 1, 2017 with be the 33rd annual celebration.   This is your opportunity as residents to get to know your neighbors by holding or attending an event on your block or neighborhood.  The events can be held morning, afternoon, and evening.  They can be simple gatherings of sharing ice cream, pot lucks, or playing games.  Other groups host larger events with entertainment, kids activities, movies, and more.
